Solarize Piedmont 2021 is live! The campaign will be open from May 3 to June 30, 2021.
After a competitive review process, Altenergy and Virtue Solar have been chosen as our selected installation partners for our Solarize Piedmont campaign. This process ensures that we’re providing participants with highly qualified, vetted, installers with quality equipment and the most affordable prices. Participants will be connected with one of these installers based on geographic region.

Solarize Piedmont is presented in partnership with the City of Charlottesville, the Piedmont Environmental Council, and the Northern Virginia Regional Commission. We’re currently serving the following areas in the Central Virginia/Piedmont region: Albemarle, Charlottesville, Clarke, Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock.
Solarize NOVA is also live and serving the following areas: Arlington, City of Alexandria, City of Fairfax, Fairfax County, Falls Church, Loudoun, Prince William and Vienna. Keep an eye on our site for upcoming programs in Roanoake, Blacksburg, Salem, Fredericksburg, and the Greater Richmond area.
