Time of Use (ToU) + Battery Storage
Dominion Energy customers who have a smart meter (also known as an AMI meter) installed may take part in their new Time of Use (TOU) pilot program starting in 2021. TOU rate plans are based on how much energy you use and what time of day you use it. Learn about the different rates on Dominion’s Off-Peak Plan webpage.
After going through a competitive bidding process, we are working with a local solar installer (SunDay Solar) to help you install a battery storage system with a ‘smart’ energy management panel, with or without solar systems, so you can take control of your energy and take advantage of the TOU price rates.
